Less Mortgage Borrowers Underwater

RealtyTrac reported that 19% of all homes with a mortgage were “underwater”, or owing at least 25%  more on their mortgage than the home was worth. One reason could be the rise in home prices. CNNMoney also states the number of equity-rich homeowners has gone up by 18% as well.
